Acquistions and Renovations
Capstone’s Acquisition and Renovation Program concentrates on acquiring and renovating strategically located, off-campus student apartment communities, which are physically and/or operationally under-performing. We renovate these complexes using the talents and expertise of one of our in-house construction companies: CollegeTown Construction or Cottage Builders. As a part of this program, we look for opportunities to incorporate, “green” or sustainable design and construction features, which reflects Capstone’s corporate commitment to sustainability.
An attractive option we offer our university partners is the priority use of the renovated community without university financial or operational commitments. It is another example of Capstone’s innovative approach to addressing housing needs for our university partners. Recent examples of Capstone’s Acquisitions and Renovation Program include Towson Place (Towson, Maryland) and Eagles West Apartments (Auburn, Alabama).
